    Our Fall Workshop will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Theodore’s Restaurant on Route 5 near Canastota, NY. Registration is $35.00 for paid-up members and $50.00 for non-members (if $15.00 dues were not paid earlier this year). The registration cost will cover the workshop, coffee, donuts, and a buffet lunch.

    Cost: $35.00 to include class and lunch, membership dues are $15.00 and must be paid to attend.  For this first session, we will only accept online pre-registration payment or cash and checks at the door. as in the past.

    The agenda is as follows:

     8  AM - 9 AM Check in and Registration / Coffee and Donuts 
     9  AM - 10 AM Threats, Indicators, and Warning Signs at Critical Infrastructure Sites – Drew Lasater, Patrick Curtin, and Eric Bullard, New York State Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services
    10  AM - 11 AM Drinking Water Source Protection – Charles Rorick, New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and New England Interstate Water Pollution Control Commission (NEIWPCC); and Jessica Casey, New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC)
     11 AM - 12 PM Variable Speed Drives for Process Control – Robert Lax, Schneider Electric
    12 PM- 1 PM  Membership Meeting / Lunch
     1  PM - 3 PM Top Op's Competition
     

    Certified operators attending will be awarded contact hours toward operator recertification.

    Water – 5.0 Hours

    Wastewater – TBD Contact hours.

    PE Credits - TBD PDHs.

    The New York State Department of Health has agreed to sponsor this event. Contact hours for Professional Engineering continuing education credit for licensed engineers have been applied for.
